Malaysian Chinese living in the UK since 2005. Strong command of Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Bahasa Melayu. Passionate about learning, especially in languages, social science, and information communication technology (ICT).

Inspired by how language learning shapes the brain, I am raising two little ones in 3 languages using the one-parent-one-language method (OPOL) - Mandarin (mother), Finnish (father) and schooling/ nursery in English.

Tutoring Experience

Professional exposure working in Hong Kong (between 2003-2005) as a web content editor using both Traditional and Simplified Chinese for a well-known aviation company.

Practicing professional in the technology industry, I have mentored and coached colleagues at work.

With my passion in languages and ICT, I am offering tutoring to children between the ages of 4-12, as well as adult/ casual learners.

Tutoring Approach

Employing a ‘learning through play’ approach, I will tailor lessons for different age groups to meet their learning styles.
