My aim is to boost confidence in maths by tutoring one to one or online.
I achieve great satisfaction in impacting on a student's progress. I particularly enjoy working with students who lack confidence and can find maths difficult.
Tutoring Experience
My teaching experience has spanned over 30 years working in Scottish secondary schools and abroad. I am currently a teacher and I am PVG registered.
I have extensive experience of teaching all abilities from Secondary 1 (S1) to Secondary 6 (S6)
I was involved in the online delivery of the National Support programme provided by eSgoil which is free to all Scottish pupils.
Tutoring Approach
This depends very much on the student. I tailor all tuition to the ability and age of the student and what they hope to achieve.
