As an experienced teacher and Head of Chemistry at a leading independent school I have the knowledge and ability to enthuse all students in their study of science and make sure they achieve their full potential. I specialise in Chemistry and Biology which I teach and tutor to A-level. I also tutor Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Combined Science at GCSE.

Tutoring Experience

I currently teach A-level and GCSE Chemistry and Biology and combined science from ages 11-18 in a leading independent girls school. In addition, I have worked as a GCSE examiner in chemistry for Edexcel. My students are consistently successful in gaining the deep and rounded understanding and enthusiasm for science which they need to progress.

I have extensive experience of tutoring students aged 11-18 with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds for exams ensuring that they achieve the grades that they need to succeed.

Tutoring Approach

First and foremost, I am passionate about science and have an infectious enthusiasm for the subject. By providing a carefully tailored and individualised program of tutoring and study, my aim is to focus on areas of weakness and ensure all students have a full and rounded understanding of their subject(s). I am particularly successful at targeting knowledge gaps and helping with exam technique in the run up to GCSEs and A levels.

I have the resources and expertise to tutor effectively online as required.

I have new availability on Mondays at 5pm or 6pm, dependent on location.
