Awarded the prestigious Allyn Young Prize at LSE for Excellence in Microeconomics, I have a strong passion for sharing my knowledge and helping to shape the future of students! I studied BSc Mathematics with Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I graduated with First Class Honours. I am currently working as an Actuary in the heart of London.
My A-Level grades are listed below:
Mathematics: A*
Further-Mathematics: A*
Economics: A*
I have several years of tutoring experience in A-Level Economics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. My students consistently achieve noticeable progress, particularly in key areas of the specification and exam technique.
Given my passion for teaching and passing on my knowledge, I have returned to LSE, since graduating, to provide talks to current Actuarial Science students.
I believe that excelling in GCSE and A-Level exams requires a solid understanding of the content as well as the ability to apply this knowledge to unfamiliar scenarios. To ensure students fully grasp the material, I guide them through the relevant textbook chapters and regularly test their knowledge, allowing us to track their progress effectively.
As a friendly and patient tutor, I focus on breaking down challenging problems into manageable steps to help students build confidence. Having recently completed my own A-Levels and GCSEs, I am well-acquainted with the current specifications, skills, and exam techniques needed to succeed. My experience attending a comprehensive school has also made me attuned to the varying levels of support that students may require. I am highly motivated to provide a tailored and supportive learning experience for each of my students.
