I have worked as Qualified Teacher since 2003, after gaining my PGCE from the University of Manchester.
My aims are to deliver a high standard of teaching in order to help students achieve academic excellence and to help them become independent critical thinkers as well as lifelong learners and responsible global citizens within a rapidly changing world.
My background includes over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience of Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 ('A' Levels) Sciences (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) and Maths up to GCSE level. I have taught Science and Maths to students from Primary level to Adults in Schools and Colleges. Many of the schools and Colleges that I have worked in have been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
My teaching is very positive, dynamic, individualised and relevant in preparing students for their exams and I implement strategies that are relevant for the students' learning needs as I believe that every individual has very specific needs in order, so my approach aims to help them to enjoy their subject and for them to do well in their exams. I have also found that building good relationship with students is also crucial in order for them to gain maximum benefit from their tuition sessions.
Currently, my tuition preference would be online and am offering high quality one to one and group session of 2-5 students (which are discounted). Face to Face services can be provided but may be subject to additional charges.
