I am bilingual English/French and a graduate of French/Education from Roehampton University. I can tutor Maths, French and English to all levels from primary to adult learners. I know that learning a language at a late age without previous knowledge whatsoever is no easy task as I have myself been learning Italian and Spanish during and after my degree so I can empathise with learners and know how to plan my lessons in order that students maximise their learning with my help. I also know that the hardest skill to master is the speaking skill where I shall make learners practice so that they become confident in speaking French/English..

Tutoring Experience

I am passionate about helping students improve their ability to use and understand language and to express their ideas clearly. I have experience tutoring English,French and Maths (KS1, KS2 and KS3). I am known for my dedication and energy. For me praise and encouragement are of prime importance and can make an enormous difference to their performances at school.

I have also done researches in language learning in UK and I have a good grasp of the difficulties needed to be tackled to improve, enhance and to have progression in language learning. I tutor anyone be it primary students, secondary students or adults wanting to learn English/French.

Tutoring Approach

I assess my tutees in the first lesson to establish their strength and also areas where they need help most. I then prepare material which allows to reinforce their knowledge and understanding in learning a difficult topic. I gradually strengthen their knowledge by giving them questions so that they have lots of practice and hence improve.

Practising mostly exam papers for students willing to improve their grades would make them confident and ready for the exam itself . I have lots of resources handy to maximise learning and help learners attain their target grade or do even better. Consequently with my help and their dedication to learning I hope to help students get the grades they should be proud of.

I have extensive experience in tutoring children sitting for their eleven plus exam. I use selective eligibility test papers in preparing tutees. I had one very bright student who I prepared only in 6 months of practice in Verbal Reasoning and Maths and she passed and got a place in one of the Grammar school in Wallington.

I also prepared children for Entrance in Reigate Grammar and most were successful.

I prepare tutees for any grammar school of their choice.

Finally I shall tailor the lessons to the student needs and level so that there is increased confidence, gradual progress and eventually improvement.

I also tutor adult learner sitting for the A1, B1, B2,C1 and C2 for the visa for settlement or citizenship.
