After initially tutoring adult friends and later my neighbours' children to help them pass their GCSEs in English and Mathematics, I was prompted to train as a teacher. I then applied for the PGCE Mathematics programme at the University of Brighton.
I have taught mathematics in several schools, delivering both GCSE Foundation (KS3) and Higher (KS4) Mathematics. I also tutor English language, focusing on strategies to help students pass their GCSEs. Before pursuing my PGCE, I taught basic mathematics and ICT to members of the homeless community in Brighton, aiming to provide essential skills to help individuals transition out of homelessness.
In school, I did everything I could to avoid math's. However, I later realized that it is an easy subject to grasp—as long as the student learns the foundations step by step. Therefore, I teach each fundamental concept with the highest level of clarity, ensuring a strong foundation that allows for deeper, more advanced learning later on.
