Hi! I am a recent graduate with a first class masters degree in Psychology and Psychological Practice from the University of Birmingham. I love to dance and have competed at a national level since I was a child. My career goal is to complete a PhD in Educational Psychology so I can work within schools as a psychologist.
I have lead a peer assisted study session for first year psychology students during my time at university, supporting students with academic revision, exam technique and pastoral support. I have experience working at a SEND secondary school working as both academic support to students, as well as providing emotional, behavioural and academic intervention.
I believe that every student learns differently, and by using differentiated instruction, I tailor my methods to suit each learner’s unique needs, strengths, and developmental stage. I aim to foster a collaborative environment where students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning, encouraging self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, and confidence. My goal is to support each individual in realising their full potential, both academically and personally.
