Hello! I am bilingual, natively fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin. Currently I am studying for a Bachelors degree in English Literature at King's College, London.

Tutoring Experience

I have previously tutored three children, aged between 4 and 7 Chinese Mandarin.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to make learning fun!

As my students have mostly been children, when planning for each lesson I like to devise special games and activities that requires them to get up and move about. That way they can keep their focus during a long lesson but it also helps with learning casual but useful words and phrases.

I also like to use textbooks, and I think reading and comprehension are very important for mastering a language. For Chinese I like to go the extra mile by showing students the culture behind Chinese, for example reading them classic idiom stories that are widely known in China, or showing them famous Chinese nursery rhymes.
