Hi! I am an A-level law teacher at an outstanding Sixth Form College in the North West. I am a Law Graduate from Edge Hill University gaining a 2:1 LLB Law degree in 2013. This was followed by completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2014. I practiced as a Solicitor for several years before embarking on my journey to become a law teacher. I am now in my fifth year of teaching and absolutely love it.

I only tutor students who study the OCR specification to ensure I can support fully with content and exam technique.My strategy is to first meet a student, find out what they wish to develop and then move forward from there! Sessions are planned in advance to ensure student’s benefit from the time allocated. I am fantastic at improving students grades. I also mark for OCR. For one-to-one sessions I charge £35 an hour.

I would describe myself as very committed and dedicated to all aspects in my life and give everything 100%. On a personal level, I have a bubbly personality and have many interests such as travelling and academic research.

I have offered private law tutoring for 4 years. I have refined my approach and have been given excellent feedback from students and parents/carers.

Tutoring Approach

I have tutored many tutees privately, all who have been very pleased with the tuition provided.

I believe that every individual is unique and so my teaching approach will vary from student to student. I try to motivate students to aspire and achieve their best and provide a quality teaching environment where they can succeed by tailoring sessions around their areas of weakness.

Experiences from my own personal school life have shown me that a good teacher can offer more than just an education; they can act as a confidant, an adviser and a figure of creativity and in a lot of cases (such as my own) an inspiration. With this in mind it is important to be approachable so that the student feels comfortable in asking questions and building up their interest in the subject.
