I hold a dual degree in Medicine and Bioengineering from Imperial College London, where I graduated in the top decile of my class. Prior to that, I completed the International Baccalaureate (A-level equivalent), with Chemistry, Biology, Maths and English as higher level subjects.
I am curious and dedicated, always looking to expand my knowledge. I previously worked in cancer research in the US and have published across medical literature. Currently, I work in hospital Psychiatry. In my spare time, I enjoy running, swimming and reading fiction.
I am an enthusiastic teacher with over 500 hours of individual tutoring experience. I also give lectures to Imperial College medical students, alongside small-group and individual teaching on the wards.
I am confident working with young people, having worked as a Paediatrics doctor before, as well as a summer school counsellor when I was in my early twenties.
My teaching style is highly personalised to the student. Interactive learning is key. Depending on needs, I can expand on what has been taught in school or broaden into other areas. I always incorporate practice questions in my teaching to assess a student’s understanding and find any gaps to fill.
My students make rapid progress, improving not only in their test results but also in their confidence and passion for learning. Overall, I believe that learning should always be interesting, and I apply this principle to all of my tutoring.
