Laura

My name is Laura, I am from Belfast, Northern Ireland, however I currently live in Greece onboard a sailboat. I am super friendly and I love to meet new people. I previously worked as a Mental Health Nurse for 10 years until I started to travel. I enjoy travelling and meeting new people from all different nationalities. I have a passion for photography and I enjoy going for walks and photographing the beautiful places I visit. I love dogs and I have 2 Golden Retrievers. I relax in the evenings by watching TV or cooking.

Tutoring Experience

I have recently completed my TEFL course. I have 1 year of experience teaching English through my travels to people of all different nationalities and native languages. My Nursing career has also helped with my experience of communicating with people of all different levels of capabilities.

Tutoring Approach

My classes would be very welcoming and relaxed. I would focus more on conversation and then accuracy second to that. I like to make learning English fun and enjoyable. My classes are student focused and I will teach what you feel happy and comfortable with. In my class students are free to be themselves and ask any questions and I will take my time to ensure you understand and gain confidence in your English.
