A little about me!
Hello, I'm Leannda and I am the tutor behind Little Minds Tutoring.
I've always had a passion for teaching and have worked with children since my teenage years, from volunteering at a local primary school during my college years, helping to run Brownie and Girl Guide Groups , working as a nursery assistant to then teaching full time.

In my free time, I love travelling, spending time with friends and family and walking my dog, Tilly.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years and have taught across the primary school, including teaching phonics and early reading, working towards phonics screening tests and teaching in Year 6, preparing children for SATS as well as experience with SEND.

Tutoring Approach

For each of my students, I create a bespoke tutoring experience, taking into account the learners strengths, learning styles and personality.
I strive to build a positive relationship with the student as well as the parents, listening carefully to all individual requirements. I focus on gaps in learning but also how I can stretch and challenge. I have years of experience with working with children with SEN and have recently completed a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism. I'm extremely patient, calm and focus on the positives.
