I am a qualified Mathematics teacher from the UK with over five years of teaching experience. I hold a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Manchester and a PGCE with QTS from King’s College London. I have taught in a range of international and UK schools. Currently, I teach Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level Mathematics, where I aim to inspire students to see the real-world applications of mathematics and develop a lasting confidence in the subject.
I have over five years of experience teaching Mathematics at secondary and post-16 level in the UK. After completing my degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester, I went on to gain Qualified Teacher Status with a PGCE from King’s College London. I currently teach GCSE and A Level Mathematics, helping students develop confidence, achieve strong results, and appreciate the real-world applications of the subject.
My teaching approach is centred on building both confidence and understanding. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapt my methods to suit each student’s learning style. By connecting mathematics to real-world applications, I aim to make lessons engaging, relevant, and accessible. I also place strong emphasis on exam technique and problem-solving skills, ensuring students are well-prepared to achieve their best results.
