Hi, I'm Lena, enthusiastic, qualified Teacher for Modern Languages. I've been teaching in a Secondary School Spanish, French and Russian language since 2017. I hold MA in Translation Studies and BA in Spanish Language and Literature and Russian Studies. Furthermore, I teach GCSE (foundation & higher level), A-levels for Spanish and Russian language (AQA and Edexcel exam board).

Tutoring Experience

I am experienced and passionate Qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, who is keen to deliver best teaching experience to my students and to help them develop their language skills to achieve goals they want. I have been tutoring since 2012 (when I first starting as a community tutor at my University during BA degree, as a native speaker of Russian language and student who has a profound understanding of Spanish and Russian grammar, I was helping fellow students in my group to gain a better understanding of certain language aspects).
In 2017 I obtained QTS from Tudor Grange Academy Solihull, as a Modern Foreign Language teacher. I since taught in 2 different Secondary Schools in Birmingham. I I specialise in:
- preparing my students for GCSE exam and A-level exam.
- Improving grammar
- Speaking skills (focusing on pronunciation and natural way of speaking, clearly expressing yourself)
- Essay writing skills
I teach different levels from beginner level (A1 level) up to advanced level (C2 level). I teach AQA and Edexcel exam boards for GCSE and A-levels.
I also offer lessons for Adult Learners (beginner, intermediate and advanced level).

Tutoring Approach

I structure my lessons around prior knowledge of my students. I strive to create engaging and captivating lessons, where we practice various skills needed to develop communication skills in the target language. I always customise my lessons to the student needs to ensure maximum progress when learning.
