I am a qualified Maths Teacher who teaches Maths in a secondary school. We have a strong focus on pupils attaining the highest grade.

I have the highest number of satisfied parents with 5 star reviews for Maths (I only tutor maths so all my reviews are for maths tuition).

I apply the latest developments in teaching pedagogy, such as in lesson assessment for learning and cognitive science to teach my students.

Previously I worked in a state secondary running interventions to push pupils to Grade 8/9 as well as bridging the gap with those who were struggling with maths.

I am a graduate with a first degree in Mathematics, experienced Primary (11+ exams), Secondary (KS3) and GCSE Maths tutor.

I enjoy mathematics and find satisfaction in solving maths questions. I have a strong mathematical background: A-level in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics.

I also achieved a merit for the Oxford and Cambridge Maths Special paper which goes beyond the A-level syllabus and challenges the students lateral thinking in Mathematics.

I then graduated from the University of Manchester (a Russell Group University) in Mathematics and then a Masters in Computer Science.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a Maths tutor for 10 years in London. I can teach primary, GCSE, A-levels all the way to university level, children and adults.

My students received good grades from their examinations and have successfully entered selective schools such as Tiffin's Grammar School, Hampton Boys and Lady Eleanor School.

After moving home, I took a break to concentrate on helping my children prepare for their Grammar school and 11+ independent school entrance exams.

Now that the exams are finishing, I am in the position to tutor others.

Update: My daughter achieved 260+ score in the Grammar School exams and already receiving independent school scholarship plus bursary offers

Tutoring Approach

Before starting the maths lessons, I would like to find out what goals and needs you have. I would also like to assess you on your present level of understanding in order for me to create suitable lessons for your circumstances.

I can teach topic-based lessons or exam practice lessons where I support you through exam papers. I can also teach lessons arranged according to the national curriculum which is especially useful if you are home educating.

In addition to the lessons, I will provide homework questions for further practice and consolidation for my regular tutees. The homework is included at no extra cost.

**GCSE Maths**
I have a large collection of GCSE Maths Edexcel/AQA/OCR past papers that we can practice through. Plus I mark your answers live according to the mark scheme like an examiner, so you can see exactly what you need to demonstrate for full marks. You will be surprised there are tips which I’ll demonstrate that can get you higher marks in the exam.

**11+ Maths/NVR Grammar Exams**
I go through each examined topic one by one, provide plenty of practice as well as speed tests to build confidence and mastery.

**11+ and 13+ Maths Independent School Exams**
I work in a selective independent school and responsible marking their maths entrance exam.

I have written model solutions to over one hundred 11+ and 13+ independent school exam papers such as King Edward High School (Boys and Girls) to fully prepare you.

**Secondary KS3 Maths *
I teach KS3 according to National Curriculum and aim to progress the tutee confidently towards GCSE.

Online Tuition

I have worked on the best method for online tuition, I use Zoom and Bitpaper and I have a graphics tablet which is exactly like writing on an actual whiteboard.

The hourly prices on the right are for online and one-to-one delivered at home. If you would like me to travel to you, a surcharge may be added for travel expense depending on location.
