A very caring tutor. Leon would often go over time to ensure a topic was covered properly. I particularly liked the first session where he asked my daughter different questions about her preferences in life so he could get an idea of what sort of learner she was and adapted his approach to suit.

Leon has been working with our son to help him develop coding skills for A-Level Computer Science.

Having not studied Computer Science at GCSE, he was a little concerned that he may fall behind, but Leon has helped him with the use of videos and coding challenges that cover each topic in much greater depth than would be possible at school.

Although he has only been working with Leon for 4 months, his confidence in class has already grown and he is really enjoying the subject.

Leon provided us with a 7 day free trial so we could see how his tutoring worked. My Son is in Year 10 and heading towards his GCSE’s and was struggling with fractions, after just a few days my Son commented that he’d been given a fractions paper in class and he said he could answer the questions with confidence and that he knew the answers. He said this was because of what Leon had taught him. We will be asking Leon to continue tutoring my Son which I’m confident will improve his grades.

Leon has been helping my son for several weeks now with GCSE computer science. Leon’s communication, patience and knowledge has been excellent and my son says that he is finding the exercises and feedback relevant, confidence boosting and generally very helpful. My son is 15 and completing gcse computer science. He needed some extre help with coding so we got in touch with Leon. Leon has been tutoring my son now for several weeks, and it has been a complete sucess. The pace and style are adjusted to suit my son's needs; to ensure that he does understand fully and Leon gradually builds his confidence. In the weekly lesson they cover so much, my son has the support he needs and is comfortable to ask questions and reflect on what he has learnt. This is my first time of using a tutor, and I would recommend Leon openly as a tutor.

Leon is currently tutoring my son, he is very thorough and is making a big difference with my sons learning and with his confidence, I will be continuing lessons twice a week for as long as is needed and my son actually looks forward to them.

Leon is very professional and my daughter who struggles with maths has found that the way Leon explains concepts make it easy for her to understand. On one occasion at short notice he accommodated a change in the day and time of the lesson.

Leon had a very pleasant manner and he made a great effort to attend the session at short notice. His expertise in maths was obvious as was his approach to dyslexic students. My only concern was Leon's lively approach may have tired Nathan out for an evening session, as his dyslexia can make things difficult to process. Although I m sure other parents/student would find Leon's enthusiasm an added bonus!

We decided to go for a tutor out of the home environment to keep Nathan motivated.
