I am currently studying for my A-levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology and am tutoring alongside. I recently achieved six grade 9's (including Maths, English and Sciences) two grade 8's and two grade 7's at GCSE and regularly achieve A*'s in assessments at A-level. I believe as having taken my GCSE's recently I am extremely familiar with the specification and what is required in order to achieve the top grades and can help explain things in way students can understand.
At the moment I have limited teaching experience however am patient, very enthusiastic, extremely hard working and prepared to do work outside of lesson in order to provide lots of resources for students in order to help them in areas they are struggling.
My teaching approach would to go over concepts thoroughly and help students through examples before setting exam style questions as these are essential to improving exam techniques and knowing how to approach the high level questions in the GCSE exams.
