I was employed in the financial services industry for 15 years before studying to become a teacher. I can apply business theory to practical and real-life situations. I taught maths to adults before teaching business and Finance at Level 3. I can also help with study skills and action plans.
I gained ACIS (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) status in 2011 after successfully completing 16 modules in Business and Finance. I spent 2 years teaching Level 2 Functional Skills Maths and I have been teaching Business Studies and Finance to A Level and Vocational students for 5 years.
I have a friendly and motivational approach to teaching which creates a well-balanced experience for students. I am a wellbeing champion and can therefore provide a holistic approach to teaching. I can also help with study skills in preparation for examinations.
