I am a qualified teacher of science working in a Shropshire secondary School, a graduate of Bioscience and have A-levels in biology, chemistry and physics. My current role is Deputy Director of Science. I have a huge passion for the sciences and love to bring them alive and relevant for my students. I can tutor any of the sciences up to GCSE level and Biology up to A-level. Focused exam revision with various techniques depending on the student. I have experience with and in depth knowledge of AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards. I am both an AQA and OCR examiner, and so my knowledge of exams and how to approach them is very strong. Tutoring Approach

My approach is focused on inspiration, motivation and relevance. Science is relevant to everything we do, everyday , keeping that context makes learning science fun and exciting. I make sure that we cover all content on the exam specification with focus on successful retrieval methods. I ensure students are confident in their own ability , and change tutoring methods accordingly. Focused exam revision sessions including techniques throughout
