I am a well qualified (BA degree in French and English, Certificate in Education), enthusiastic, professional teacher offering excellent tuition in French. Students are expected to reach their potential and usually achieve A* or A grades in GCSE French. I am bilingual in French having lived in France for many years (Paris and Nice) and married to a French man.
My experience includes teaching French in the curriculum of a French primary school for four years, teaching after school French in three primary schools for 13 years and tutoring GCSE for the same length of time. I also run French classes for children on a Saturday and tutor primary school age children on a one to one basis.
I am an enthusiastic tutor who inspire pupils and students to reach their potential. For younger pupils, I make French enjoyable and fun but educational, giving them a desire to learn French. I encourage older students to learn, not just for exams but to be able to speak French when they go to a French speaking country so they will be able to make the most of their experience. French is a passion for me and hopefully, students grow to share this passion. Students who have attended my classes at primary age, often contact me at GCSE level to tell me how they remember their classes with me and how it helped them for their future French studies.
