Hi! My name is Lisa. I am an experienced TEFL teacher from England. I studied anthropology at university and I have a keen interest in travel and culture. I love working with students from all over the world, to help them reach their English language goals.
I have been teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) for the last 10 years, first in classrooms in Asia and now as a tutor online. I have two TEFL certificates.
My classes are designed for intermediate, upper intermediate and advanced students. I teach in a conversational style (no textbooks or exams!) by discussing real-life issues and interesting articles, podcasts etc. Each class is tailored to your interests and goals; this quickly helps you to improve your confidence, speaking and listening skill, working vocabulary and pronunciation in a fun and stress-free environment. I believe fluency is a state of mind where you feel confident enough to build your sentences in a relaxed and spontaneous manner, to communicate effectively in any given situation...it's not about being perfect!
