I am enthusiastic, assertive and highly dedicated to the profession of teaching. I possess exceptional organisational skills as well as efficient time management skills. As a qualified practitioner, I have been able to acquire a vast amount of skills and experience, using them appropriately and effectively throughout my teaching career. One of my main strengths is the ability to communicate at all levels throughout the educational system. After raising my family, I felt it important to return to education to fulfil my aspiration of being a Primary school teacher. Through determination, ambition and dedication I achieved my goal. I have always continued to inspire my children and the children I have been fortunate to teach to achieve their most ambitious goals.
My teaching experience includes teaching in an Independent school for 6 years, teaching children aged 3-5 before moving on into the mainstream sector whereby I have experience of teaching the primary curriculum to children aged 7-11. I also have huge experience teaching in a centre which focused on helping children with learning difficulties.
My approach to tutoring is to build a child's confidence and help them to understand concepts more clearly with my additional support. Children have different ways of learning and my aim would be to use strategies to reassure and encourage each child to reach their full potential in a happy and confident way.
