Hello! I'm Louise and I'm from Bristol in the UK. I've been a teacher and private tutor for most of my career and have worked in schools in Bath, Bristol and London, as well as internationally.
In addition to my teaching career I have ventured into entrepreneurship as a magazine Editor and content writer, successfully running my own franchise.
In my spare time, I love travelling, writing and photography and am passionate about everything related to tennis, yoga and Pilates.
I have 28 years experience of teaching across the age and ability range, from KS3 to A Level, in state secondary schools in the UK, New Zealand and most recently in Dubai. Since returning to the UK, I've become self-employed, using the skills I acquired during Covid to tutor students online, both in the UK and Dubai.
I am a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic teacher and tutor and I love my subject! I strive to build positive relationships with all of my students and work hard to find out what they are interested in before tailoring lessons to their requirements - whether that be preparation for examinations, studying a set text or learning how to write a successful essay.
Bringing texts to life for students and fostering a love for language is at the heart of what I do and I look forward to working with you soon!
