Louise

My name is Louise, I am a fully qualified teacher, currently working full time in a primary school. I specifically work with children in KS1 aged 4-8 years old. I am a passionate, kind and enthusiastic teacher who loves my job. I would love to be able to help more children who are struggling in certain areas of the curriculum and help them to achieve their full potential. I am currently available to offer tutoring sessions evenings, weekends and during the summer holidays.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 10 years in a Primary school working with children aged 4-8 years old. Due to my knowledge and experience in KS1, I would be happy to offer learning to children up to this age. I have a lot of experience and knowledge in the curriculum as a whole, specifically phonics, reading , writing and Maths. I have taught in Year R, 1 and 2 predominantly.

Tutoring Approach

Every child is different and every child learns in their own way. I adapt all my teaching to suit the individual child’s needs. I will first carry out an initial assessment so that I can help children achieve to their full potential, filling in any learning gaps that they may have. I am a kind, happy and patient teacher and I love to make learning fun and enjoyable for children. I will incorporate the child’s interests into learning to make the learning more enjoyable whilst teaching the curriculum.
