I have been teaching since I graduated in 2009 and am a very flexible teacher who can adapt to suit each pupils preferred learning style. I have lots of years of gigging and touring experience and feature on many albums.
Many of my students have gone on to study music at college or University. I have grade 8 violin students as young as 13 and diploma level singing students as young as 16. Some of my students have won nationwide competitions and have performed in prestigious venues in England and abroad. Previous students include the Beaulieu junior (2016) and senior (2018) winner and the youngest contestant to get through to the knockout rounds of 'The Voice'.
I have a fresh and exciting approach to instrumental and vocal teaching. I have a 100% success rate with vocal and violin exams, but am happy to take on pupils who do not wish to take exams. I teach Trinity, Abrsm, LCM, Trinity Rock and Pop and Rockschool syllabuses. I am happy to teach Classical, jazz, folk, pop, blues, rock, and musical theatre.
