Hello, I'm Lucy the founder of Aspiring Minds Tuition. At Aspiring Minds Tuition our aim is to provide an encouraging, supportive, safe and secure environment that allows our learners to unlock, and fulfil their true potential, whether academically, creatively or by helping them boost self-confidence and self-esteem. We are all about breaking down barriers and helping our learners believe, achieve and succeed. We are an accredited specialist tuition provider for all key stage learners. We specialise in supporting learners who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and tailor the delivery of our sessions which meet the individual needs of our learners. We create personalised educational packages for our learners, which include EOTIS/EOTAS packages, Alternative Provision (AP) packages and home educated packages.

Our area of expertise is delivering recognised accredited courses and qualifications in Computer Science and we are proud to be a partner of the British Computer Society (BCS), a member of The Chartered Institute for IT, and recognised as an accredited tuition provider delivering industry-recognised digital and IT qualifications. This means that in addition to our own in-house courses, which include literacy, numeracy and mentoring, we deliver BCS approved courses from registration to examination.
Our courses are primarily delivered online and we aim to deliver these in small groups as well as one-to-one. We can offer face-to-face tuition and we are happy to discuss this option further. We follow the National Curriculum or the examination board specification and, where our in-house bespoke courses are being delivered, we will always tailor these to our learners’ needs to enable them to learn and progress at their own pace and in their own learning style.
I have 20+ years of teaching experience in a large secondary school. During these years I have delivered 1-2-1 and group sessions supporting learners with their educational journey.
