Lucy

My name is Lucy, I am 31 years old and I am a qualified language teacher. I specialise in Spanish, French and English language.
I moved to Barcelona when I was twelve years old and lived and worked there until the age of 24. Not only do I speak Spanish fluently but I also have a very high knowledge of colloquial Spanish and a perfect pronunciation.
I started learning French in 2015 after meeting my French partner. I am now also fluent in French and it is our main language spoken at home. I love teaching and I am a very patient teacher.

I am a mother of two, which gives me great experience teaching young children as well as adults.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring GCSE Spanish and French in high schools across Norwich, England as well as experience teaching English in different language schools and academies where I teach adults, young children and teenagers. I have experience teaching private lessons to adults of all ages. I have a passion for languages and love sharing my knowledge.

I also prepare students for exams like A LEVELS, IELTS, CPE, FCE, PET, GESE and BEC (business English)

Over the last few years I have been teaching asylum seekers in schools, helping them with their general English but also preparing them for their school GCSEs. In this time I have supported many students with GCSE subjects, specifically Science. I have a great knowledge of the school curriculum and I can help with Biology or Chemistry if you feel you need some extra support.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are specifically tailored to each students individual needs and interests. My lessons are interesting, fun and interactive. I teach reading, speaking, writing and listening. My lessons include interesting articles to read, fun games to play and debates among other interesting topics.
I am also able to prepare you for any exam level necessary.
