Half term availability If your child is struggling / weaker in a particular area and needs some sessions to 'top up', i have some times / dates left throughout the week to help narrow the gaps in learning.

I currently work in a Primary School in Shropshire which I absolutely love.I have been fortunate enough to have worked across the age ranges which has allowed me to gain a wealth of experience and therefore I have extensive knowledge about how to approach learning at different stages - different aged children need different approaches and benefit from different styles of teaching.

I have also worked with children with range of SEN requirements, and therefore have developed approaches to ensure children are challenged appropriately. I am used to ensuring my teaching is pitched in a suitable way to allow all children to progress.

I am looking to help children particularly in English and Maths, whether it be a constant booster weekly to ensure they don't fall behind at school or maybe that extra bit of help needed to get through the SAT's and get the level they deserve.

Having 2 younger sisters myself I have seen the struggles faced by independent revision and feel I can help bridge the gap between school teaching and independent learning, making learning at home that bit easier!

I have previously worked at Summer School's where I have taught international children.

I am a friendly, approachable and patient person with a good sense of humour. I am able to quickly form relationships with children that allow them to feel in a comfortable learning environment and think this is extremely important in any learning/teaching.

Tutoring Approach

I think my approach comes down to the child. Each child learns differently and so the way i approach their tutoring would be a decision between the child, parent and myself.

Establishing the children s areas of strength and weakness as well as identifying any issues at school. This will help to ensure I pitch my lessons at the appropriate level and challenge your child appropriately.
