I am a fully qualified and enthusiastic Languages teacher with over ten years classroom experience as well as private tuition.
I have a real passion for languages having lived abroad in both Spain and Germany for significant periods of time.
I lived for 3 years in Spain where I taught English as a foreign language at an academy as well as to private students.
It is fascinating being able to immerse yourself in another culture and key to developing your language skills further.
As well as teaching I also enjoy working as a freelance translator and proof reader.
In my free time I run, mountain bike and enjoy being outdoors with my family.

Tutoring Approach

Every student is different and has a unique approach to learning.
I keep an open dialogue with students and take the best approach to suit each individual.
I will give you confidence and inspiration in your language learning whether the focus be on grammar, speaking, reading, writing or listening skills, cultural topic at A Level or exam technique/approach to essay writing.
Curriculum and examination boards are taken into account when planning lessons.
