Luke's Feedback

Luke is the perfect tutor for my son. My son, who is in L6, was struggling with the A level Physics curriculum and needed time to consolidate his learning and review future topics to get ahead in his understanding. We have had several in person lessons so far covering the A level Physics curriculum and we can already see my son's confidence improving. Luke is flexible with his teaching and has adjusted his style to get the best out of my son. We are very pleased with his progress so far and intend to continue with lessons up to the A level exam as required. I highly recommend him. As an update, our son has now achieved and A in his Physics A level. Luke has been an integral part of this success and we cannot thank him enough for all his support

Luke has been tutoring my son for several weeks now, he has been amazing. He has been able to help in every aspect of computer science. My son lacked confidence due to poor school teaching but Luke has helped fill all the gaps and help build my sons confidence back up.

Great start! Luke is very personable, knowledgeable and has been very reassuring to our son. Following an online introductory session, objectives were discussed and a clear plan formulated. We have now just commenced weekly sessions, and are very hopeful of great outcome.

Im delighted with the tuition my son has received from Luke. Not only covering my initial support on computer science, his also stepped in and supported my son in physics and Chemistry. Given my son such confidence as well, luke is always well prepared. He takes direction from the assignments I have shared prior to class, always well prepared, he sends through the notes completed during class… easily attach to my subject notes.
Most definitely recommend Luke, he would make amazing school teacher, captures their attention and covers the topics at pace he knows my son is keeping up.

My son is enjoying the tutoring with Luke. He finds him very easy to get on with. Physics is no longer as daunting and he has become much more confident. He feels that is understanding of physics is really improving as demonstrated by a recent rest in which he received a very pleasing result.

My son really took to Luke's tutorial style and has so far gained a lot from his sessions in Computer Science IGCSE. I can highly recommend him.

Lessons were good. My daughter needed more help with applying her knowledge to questions. Would recommend Luke but it wasn't quite what we were looking for.

We've had a great experience receiving maths tuition from Luke. My son is 16 and doing his GCSEs at the moment and he's really felt the benefit of some last minute online tuition from Luke. He's doing the foundation maths paper and he can be a bit reluctant to let on when he's finding things hard but Luke put him at his ease from the first session and I could tell that he was being open about the things he was finding difficult. His feedback was that Luke was great at explaining the work and encouraging him with his progress and that he never felt patronised.
From my perspective Luke was very flexible with the timings of the sessions so everything was easy to organise, including payment. The sessions always ran to time and I could hear how encouraging he was throughout the session.
All in all a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend Luke to anyone needing support with Maths.

Joseph has found working with Luke tremendously helpful. He said that you're really friendly, knowledgeable and have been able to explain things really well. Luke is tutoring my son in Maths ahead of his IGCSE in May/June. Luke has a clear and systematic approach, and my son enjoys his classes. In addition, Luke has provided us with plenty of supplementary material.

Luke has been brilliant at supporting my daughter with the GCSE maths curriculum. She had been struggling with overwhelm and after just a few lessons he has helped restore her confidence and enjoyment of maths and feel in control again. He has the perfect combination of subject prowess and ability to put students at their ease. He is also extremely reliable and very nice with it! My daughter had three trial lessons with different tutors and chose Luke because he dedicated the time to understand where she was struggling and personalise his approach and the content of the sessions. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Great communication and has taken the time to understand my sons needs and identify any gaps that need the attention.
Would recommend and feel that Luke is already giving my son a great chance at performing in Physics to the best of his ability which is his remit.
