Online Maths and Economics Tuition

I am a qualified and experienced Deputy Head of Maths with five years of experience in schools teaching students aged 11-18. Before teaching, I studied at the University of Oxford, from which I graduated in 2019.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified Maths teacher, having spent the last five years working in schools teaching Maths to KS3, GCSE and A-level students. I have spent the last two years as Assistant Curriculum Leader of Maths at a secondary school / sixth form in East London.

I have experience tutoring Maths at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, as well as preparing students for Oxbridge applications. I am experienced in tutoring across all exam boards including Edexcel and AQA. Furthermore, I am experienced in working with both high and low attaining students, with SEND students or with those students that require special adjustments.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is knowledge-based, emphasising teacher-led instruction and modelled examples followed by independent student practice, with additional support when required.

My approach towards my students is firm but caring: I aim to cultivate a calm, consistent and productive atmosphere, where students feel happy, safe, and confident to make mistakes and ask for any support they might need.
