Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for 3 years for Primary to GCSE level students. I have also worked part time as an assistant in a local primary school.

I focus on regaining the loss of confidence and pushing my students to not just reach their potential but to aim for the best results. 

I have tutored a variety of students over the past 3 years and had them excel in their studies. One of my home schooled students achieved his first iGCSE in Maths at the age of 12 (year 8).

Why does online tutoring work?
A lot of people are put off with the idea of online tutoring. I deliver the exact same service online as I do if I was to do at home tutoring. The benefits of online outweigh at home tuition. Here's why:
All lessons are 1 to 1, face to face with a fully interactive environment and whiteboard - All lessons are recorded for review, and revision purposes. The reason for this format is to provide an efficient and flexible service, a reasonable rate and a Covid safe service meeting government and insurance guidelines.

What one of my Year 2 parents had to say: ''Having been totally skeptical about online learning I have been blow away but how Monette especially has worked with you. I cancelled previous tutors due to no rapport and getting nothing from them for the girls. Online does work, it absolutely does!''

Tutoring Approach

A natural empathy and connection with students and understanding teenagers and their social pressures so I can make students get the best out of their efforts. I focus on building students confidence levels and giving them belief in themselves to achieve. I use a range of resources to aid with tutoring and work to the students needs. Our sessions are very interactive which students love and gain a much better understanding from.
