With over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience, and holding a PhD in Austrian literature, I have the skills and academic background to provide an excellent learning environment for students. I have a First Class Degree in German, as well as a postgraduate certificate in teaching German, and a CELTA qualification (pass A) in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I love teaching both face to face and online.

Tutoring Experience

I have 30 years of experience teaching German at all levels, including GCSE, IGCSE and A Level, with a proven track record of success. With a CELTA qualification I have been tutoring English as a Foreign Language at all levels, beginner to advanced, including Business English.

Tutoring Approach

I believe providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere allows students to learn and achieve their best. I tailor all lessons to students' individual needs. When tutoring students for examinations, I provide lessons targeted at filling any gaps the students have in their knowledge and preparing them for the demands of individual exam boards.
