-I am a secondary school English teacher with experience of teaching all year groups across KS3 and KS4
- Training and teaching in an OFSTED outstanding school and a track record of achieving excellent progress with pupils including those with from PP backgrounds and with SEND.

Tutoring Experience

• Experienced teacher who has taught across KS3 and KS4 in inner city schools.
• Teaching and Learning Consultant & Leading teacher within the department
• Experince teaching online (both tutoring and during lockdown)
• Intervention tutor for students who may be underperforming
• Curated multiple revision resources to support pupils understanding of core concepts at GCSE
• Teaching of students of all abilities including top sets and intervention.

Tutoring Approach

I pride myself on being able to foster positive relationships with students whereby they feel safe to make 'mistakes' and ask for clarity along with the understanding that all students learn differently and require a tailored approach that meets their individual needs.
Importantly, I believe all pupils' should be taught to a Grade 9 standard, and aim to remove as many barries as possible to ensure that students are able to reach their potential. I believe in giving pupils the content and knowledge for the grades, before helping and teaching them how to hone their writing to fit success criterias in line with their specific exam board specification.
