Tutoring Experience

I have been privately tutoring students from a young age for over 10 years. I have educated students in a variety of subjects, such as Maths, Sciences, Geography, History, French, Business Studies, English Literature and Language and Economics. Having studied at a grammar school and at some of the UK's top Russel Group universities, King's College London (where I completed my BSc) and the University of Bristol (where I am doing my BDS), I have consistently liked to challenge myself academically. Being a student myself gives me the advantage of being able to connect with my students as I can understand their struggles and academic requirements. Furthermore, my vast experience of tutoring students to success means that I am familiar with all exam boards and I am able to deliver a high standard of teaching. My friendly and easy-going nature mean that I can form a good rapport with students which enables me to understand them well and thus tutor them to achieve their goals.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style involves understanding the student's academic requirements and then working specifically to cater those needs, such as going through exam questions in past papers and working on exam technique. I find it is important to develop a student's confidence in the subject as this enables them to excel to reach new heights in their work. I encourage all my students to aim high and I am always keen to work in a manner specifically suited to each student and their individual learning styles.
