I am a qualified primary school teacher with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Edinburgh. As a compassionate, enthusiastic, and approachable educator, I am passionate about supporting children to thrive and reach their full potential throughout their educational journey.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy travelling, playing netball, and practising Pilates.
I live in Edinburgh and I am available to teach online or in person.
With over 12 years of experience as a dedicated primary school teacher, I have taught children aged 5 to 11 in both state and prestigious private schools. My expertise lies in planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring every session is engaging, challenging, and purposeful.
I have extensive experience supporting children of all abilities, including those with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other additional support needs, through my role as a Support for Learning teacher. Furthermore, I have successfully prepared children for entrance examinations to some of London and Edinburgh’s top schools, achieving excellent results.
As a passionate and highly skilled educator, I am committed to helping every child reach their full potential in a nurturing and inspiring learning environment
My tutoring approach is all about personalisation and support. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the child, ensuring they feel both challenged and confident. I focus on making learning engaging and fun, while progressively building skills and understanding. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can thrive at their own pace.
