I am currently at college studying A Level Chemistry and felt I needed a tutor to help me improve my understanding and knowledge in this subject. I choose Malcom because of his experience in tutoring and I am very glad I did.
We went through my current syllabus and showed me different techniques in completing questions.
He has a great way of teaching and I felt I learnt something and became more confident after every lesson.

Having now been tutored by Malcolm for the passed two years I can truly say without hesitation that without his tutorage I do not believe I would have been in the position and confidence to tackle my A level examinations in Chemistry. He has patience and total knowledge in his subject breaking topic down making it understandable.
If you are serious about wanting to progress in Chemistry then choose Malcolm.

Malcolm tutored my son over a certain amount of time to assist with his Chemistry studies. My son attained a a higher grade due to the hard work involved, asisting him in being accepted into University, Malcolm mentored my son to build his confidence in the subject, gained his trust so that he could pass his knowledge over, his work ethics were of a very high standard, he has a very pleasant and comfortable character, and I would definitely recommend him to any family.

After receiving an unexpectedly poor result in AS level Chemistry last summer we enlisted the help of Malcolm with weekly private tuition for our daughter.From the beginning Malcolm was organised,friendly and approachable and was able to explain topics our daughter found difficult, in a way her teachers at school couldn't.She subsequently sat A2 level Chemistry this summer in a far more positive and confident mood and we are delighted with her result.She has gone from grade E at AS, to grade C at A2 and has been able to confirm a place for her chosen science based degree this September.We are in no doubt this was due to the excellent tuition she received from Malcolm,she couldn't have done it without his input and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

Never having used a tutor before we were apprehensive about how it would go, but both parent and pupil were delighted with how things worked out. Malcolm is reliable and punctual. He has an excellent understanding of the subject and presents it in an easy to understand format. My son has gained more confidence in his knowledge of this subject and is working hard towards his upcoming exams.

We are having Malcolm to tutor our son Jack, for his chemistry A level. Jack finds him very easy to get on with, and very approachable, but at the same time very professional. He has taught him the methods and the wording you require to get good grades in the exam, and if Jack has had any problems with particular aspects of the subject, he has explained them thoroughly to him.
