I graduated with a degree in Economics/Maths followed by a post graduate MSc in Information Technology. Having worked in the IT industry for 12 years I rediscovered my love of Maths after tutoring my own children, and finally decided to retrain as a Maths teacher. I have since been teaching all abilities at KS3, 4 and 5 in both the state and independent sectors. I have a great passion for the subject and feel I have a natural ability for communicating the concepts to different age levels.
I have taught maths to a range of abilities at KS2, 3, 4 & 5 pupils in both the state and independent sectors. I have also tutored extensively at GCSE and AS/A level (C1 - 4, D1, M1, S1 and the new Pure and Stats/Mechanics syllabus) as well as the maths element of 11+ to KS2 children.
I aim to get to know each of my individual pupils strengths and weaknesses, and their own best way of learning. From that platform each lesson can be more focussed and productive. Lesson content is driven by the needs of the individual - be it general support or specific to certain areas of the syllabus.
