I graduated as a teacher of Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina. Then I did a second degree in Classical Languages and Literature (Ancient Greek and Latin) at the same university, and a Graduate course in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I also did a Master (MPhil) and a Doctorate (DPhil) at Oxford University. I specialized in Comparative Philology, Historical Linguistics and Ancient Greek Philology (Ancient Greek Dialects) and in Modern Reception of Ancient Greek Texts, particularly Sophoclean Tragedy.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught ancient Greek Language and Literature for several years at two Universities in La Plata, Argentina, and a Graduate seminar on Indo-European and Comparative Philology. I have taught Greek Syntax at Oxford University (Faculty of Classics, MILC, 2009-2011) and Greek language for beginners at Summer Schools organized by the Outreach Office at the Faculty of Classics (Oxford University). I have taught Spanish and Latin for children at Primary Schools, and also as a private tutor, and have been teaching Spanish since 2004 for several companies in Oxford and tutoring privately in Spanish, Latin and Greek, teaching children Removed and preparing students for GCSE and A level Spanish, as well as adults and casual learners.

I am a very professional and responsible tutor, concerned for the progress and success of my students. I am very organized and teach in a fun and exciting yet structured and easy to follow way. My explanations are very clear and precise and I always try to make difficult subjects very easy to understand for the students. I use plenty of exercises and visual aids as well as games, interesting readings and audio material.
