I am a native Spanish speaker from Bogotá. I work with rare books and as a literary translator, so bilingualism is inherently embedded in my work and life. I specialise in literature, philosophy, arts and humanities.

Tutoring Experience

I have two years of experience as a University teaching assistant in the following subjects: french literature of the 19th century, women writers and film studies, all taught entirely in Spanish.

Tutoring Approach

I want my students to feel that languages are windows to other ways of understanding the world, so my focus is on source texts and multimedia cultural production from the Hispanic world: music, film and journalism.
I adjust my approach to accommodate the specific needs of my students.
