Mariam

Hi, My name is Mariam! I hold a masters degree in Cancer Biology from UCL and a bachelors in Medical Biochemistry, achieving 1st class honours and within the top first decile of my university course year. Additionally, I have led Biology research projects in Japan and within the NHS. Alongside my degree I have completed my DELE diploma in Spanish and C1 university examinations.
I now work as a consultant for a world leading life sciences company and tutor as a hobby.

Tutoring Experience

I have 5 years of experience in tutoring- including GSCE and A Level Spanish, Biology to final year undergraduate Biochemistry. I worked across various schools for 2 years and later received numerous offers for language teaching across Asia and Middle East.
In my current job, I produce teaching content and curriculums for a global leading life science company. To date, I have carried out 110+ teaching classes and taught 1030+ clients.

Tutoring Approach

Within the first session, I like to get a better understanding of my student, in order to establish their learning approach and existing understanding of the subject. Each session is then tailored to the student’s learning style, ability, progress and curriculum.
My lessions are supportive, structured and objective-led. Be prepared to work hard, have well structured and interactive lessons to achieve top grades!
