As a world expert in medieval Latin, I offer teaching specifically tailored to the needs of graduate students and academic researchers. Palaeography and textual criticism also available for more advanced students.
I've been teaching at universities since 2006, first at Oxford, then at St Andrews. Since 2014 my main teaching subject for graduate students has been medieval Latin, with occasional stints in medieval philosophy and Latin palaeography.
My focus is on helping you to understand your medieval Latin sources, sentence by sentence and word by word. As a lexicographer, though, I always teach with an eye on the workings of the language more generally. If you already have a solid grasp of medieval Latin, we can focus on a more advanced topic like reading manuscripts or editing texts.
