Mark

Hi, my name is Mark and I have a life-long love and experience of using maths. I use maths every day in my role as an Actuary and want to support others through my maths tutoring.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Statistics from Nottingham University, and 4 A-levels across Pure and Applied Maths.

I use a tailored and supportive approach to help students increase their confidence and develop their maths skills.

Tutoring Experience

I have, and am currently, tutoring my own children with their GCSE and A-Level maths studies. I understand the challenges students face when studying maths.

In my other role as an Actuary I provide training and mentoring in financial mathematics.

Tutoring Approach

I understand that every student has unique learning needs and styles. That's why I create a customised, made-to-measure, learning plan for each of my students that helps them achieve their academic goals.

I use a supportive, collaborative tutoring style to instill confidence in my students. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment for students to flourish.
