Tutoring Experience

I am a Geography and History Teacher with over 5 years’ experience in a wide range of secondary school environments both in Ireland and the UK. Have also taught English, ICT, Office Administration and SPHE across all class years (GCSE & A Level,1st, 2nd, Junior Cert, LCA, TY, ).I have experience of being Acting Head of Geography as well as an assigned ASD Teacher. Have worked in a wide range of socio-economic school environments I have been recognized to have strong planning and organizational skills .

Tutoring Approach

I believe short key assessment tests , visual aids and key word logs, are essential in retaining information and improving results. I provide detailed notes in line with the specification as well as one to one feedback on exam answers to ensure progress is being made.
