I'm Italian, I have been living in London for several years.
My passion for my native language & for the Italian culture reflects in my passion for teaching.
I like to organise events for my regular students, like going to a museum or an art gallery to discuss Italian art, going to Italian restaurants or bar to practise our Italian, cookery classes, going to see Italian films.
I have been teaching Italian as a Second Language, all levels, since January 2011.
At present I run a few private classes in East London from Beginners to Upper Intermediate level. I also teach one to one lessons & one to one conversation. I have experience teaching to students from very different backgrounds, from different Countries with very different learning history.
All my lessons are planned to make sure that students are always motivated, interested and willing to improve.
I use different media, like videos, recordings, hands out & games.
I understand very well how cultural & emotional barriers can affect the process & the progress of language learning and how important is for students to learn in a friendly and relaxed environment where they can feel at ease.
Role plays and games used in my lessons are carefully selected to make sure they are enjoyed by the students.
My lessons are mainly focused on speaking and listening skills with an inductive approach to the grammar.
