UNFORTUNATELY I AM FULLY BOOKED FOR THE CURRENT ACADEMIC SESSION
I currently teach Maths full-time and have six years of previous teaching experience across all age ranges up to 13 (S1/Year 8).
Experience providing successful tutoring to a range of ages from upper primary to National 5 (GCSE) level.
My current and previous tutees are across a wide range of ages and goals, up-to and including preparation for their National 5 exams.
I enjoy working with students of all levels and believe that with the right help and support everyone can be successful at Maths.
I can also provide support with other subjects at primary and lower secondary level.
I have worked with a wide range of students of different abilities, backgrounds and ages (from 5 - 16) after completing my teacher training with one of the UK's largest, "outstanding" trusts. This has given me a real understanding of the latest teaching methods and approaches.
I have up-to-date experience of successfully preparing aspiring students for selective entrance exams at secondary level.
The key strengths of my approach are a real understanding of the curriculum and the knowledge and skills children require to be successful at each stage of their journey.
I will work with your child to ascertain their current level of understanding and plan individual next steps that build on this and move them towards their goal; whether that is a specific exam, test or to make progress in an area that they are finding challenging.
My recent experience of successfully preparing students for a wide range of entrance exams and scholarships has given me a tried and tested approach for focusing on key areas and exam technique that enable the children I work with to be successful.
