Matt is a great tutor, my son was heading out of school with no maths qualification and a real mental block with the subject, but I’m now proud to say he aced his exams.

Mart is a great tutor and i woukd highly recommended him! My child visits Matt for Maths and English tuition, he has been with Matt for over a year now, and he just keeps on improving. Matts communication is great, there is always feedback at the end of every lesson, giving advice on what went well and anything that needs some extra Mum/Dad work.
If your child needs some extra help or even if you want to get them ahead, Matt can help. He is an excellent tutor.

Feedback is based entirely on Tutor's limited availability for sessions at the time of contact, rather than on his tutoring. Unfortunately, Matt was only able to provide a small amount of free appointments, mainly early on Sat and Sun mornings.

I am not able to rate Matt's tutoring due to the time scheduling difficulties, however his initial contact was excellent and we had an in depth discussion about our requirements with regards to tutoring. I was disappointed we were not able to progress with the tutoring sessions, based on his previous excellent feedback.

I cannot provide a rating as unfortunately I was unable to get tutoring from Matt as it was an oversight on both our parts about checking location of where tutoring would take place. I had selected my home postcode for location of tutoring but it had been missed in discussions and after paying finders fee we realised that tutor was not available to provide tutoring at my home. So please ensure as well as day, time etc that location is agreed up front before paying finders fee.

Our grandson likes Matt. He finds him very easy to get along with, friendly and finds his way of explaining things really easy to follow. He also said that that of all the teachers he has had he finds 1-1 with Matt the easiest to learn.

Despite being slightly anxious as he went in, my son came out happy and relaxed from his first session. Hi felt comfortable with Matt, and felt he’d learnt a lot even in one session.

I highly recommend Matt. It was all arranged very quickly and efficiently for tutoring my daughter. Matt has kept me up to date with how best to progress my daughters academic understanding. She was extremely happy after her first lesson.

Very happy with my daughters progress with Matt since starting primary maths tuition 8 months ago. Matt is a very enthusiastic, calm and approachable tutor and I feel this has a great impact on my daughters learning. He’s also great at keeping me up to date with learning progress.

I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. My son found English very challenging and because of Matt he successfully passed Nat 5 with a B. Matt is very patient, understanding, accommodating, enthusiastic and just an all round lovely person.

I am really pleased to have Matt tutoring my daughter. As soon as we met him he put her at ease and makes the learning fun and understandable which is really helping her to learn. I would highly recommend Matt.

Matt is a great tutor. He has helped my 12 year old son to improve his maths skills and move up in a group at school. He uses fun games to keep my son focused, and that certainly has helped with my sons attention span!

Matt has been tutoring my 11-year-old daughter for several months now and I couldn't be happier with her progress. Her confidence has increased and both her class teacher and I have noticed a marked improvement in her maths skills.She was even asked at school to help others in her group with multiplication.
As I hoped, Matt has been able to find the areas in which my daughter was having difficultly. He has enabled her to understand the concepts that she struggled with and this has led to her progressing at a steady rate. Matt has a fun approach to learning and he was able to put my daughter at ease on their first meeting (she was a bit nervous). I would highly recommend Matt as a tutor.

We have engaged Mat to work with our 2 year old daughter for 2 hours 3 days per week as we have been unable to obtain a place for our daughter in a nursery due to a shortage of places for 2 year olds in Aberdeen and there iOS over a 1 year wait for a nursery space. We have engaged Mat to continue our daughters general development and learning from the nursery which she was attending before we moved to Aberdeen and to prepare her for entry to an independent nursery when she is 3 or 4 years old.

We have been very impressed with how Mat has engaged with our daughter and have seen an immediate impact on our daughters overall development. Mat has suggested (and explained) several different approaches and techniques which he will be using and has put together a development plan (in keeping in line with Scottish curriculum) outlining what he will be doing (and why) with our daughter and what his targets are for her development stage by stage to prepare her for re-entry to nursery / pre-school.

We have also been impressed by the range of toys and arts & crafts equipment which Mat has sought to use.

We would have no reservations in recommending Mat - he is just patient and brilliant!
