We started using Matthew back in February to help my son prepare for his GCSE’s as he felt he needed some extra support. He found that his sessions with Matthew helped massively and gave my son the confidence boost he needed.
Matthew is always very polite and my son always felt confident after their tutoring sessions.

Haven’t had Matthew for long but my son seems to be working really well with him and is motivated. I’m really pleased my son has set himself a maths goal which he has never done before. After lessons he feels proud of what he has achieved in his lesson and talks about what he has learned which is a really good sign. Matthew seems flexible and chilled! He is a thumbs up from me!

In a short focused timescale Richard quickly developed a good rapport with my 16 yr old boy. Focusing on his gaps and consolidating what he did know , my sons confidence grew and having been predicted a pass , final GCSE maths was a grade 7. Son delighted and in his own words refers to Matt as ‘ a legend’. I would highly recommend Matt .

Matthew has been a brilliant tutor for my 13 year old. My son is autistic and needed help to catch up from missed maths lessons in school. He feels more confident now going back in September to year 9. I would highly recommend Matthew as a tutor.

Matthew has been an excellent maths tutor for my 15 year old son who is in year 10. My son is dyslexic and was very reluctant to have a tutor due to a previous neative experience. However, he felt comfortable with Matthew from the first sessions and has been happy to continue. My son has explained that he does not feel comfortable to ask for additional help and explanations in school but is very happy to ask Matthew, who explains new concepts in a clear way. My son feels his maths is definately improving. Matthew began tutoring my son just before lockdown and we transitioned to online tutoring with ease. Matthew has been patient while we have got used to setting up skype. I thoroughly recommend Matthew as a tutor and am delighted my son is benefitting from his lessons.

Matthew is currently helping my 8 year old develop his core maths skills, not only to bring him up to the correct educational level for his year group but also giving him the confidence to use numbers and to enhance his learning to prepare him for SATs and 11+… Matthew is patient, understanding, committed and approachable. As parents we would not ask for better qualities in a tutor.

Matthew was a great tutor to our son and helped him achieve the Maths and statistics grades he needed during his GCSE's this year. He was friendly and patient and worked with my son on his weaknesses and strengths, covering the whole Maths syllabus. I would definitely recommend people to use Matthew as a Maths tutor.

Very pleased with the tuition our son is receiving with Matthew whose calm approach really helps him listen and settle down to the work they are doing. No complaints from our son so far which is a surprise! We are even seeing changes in his attitude to doing extra maths at home.

Matthew has been teaching my son A'level Maths for the past six weeks. He is a great teacher - bright, young and enthusiastic with a very relaxed personality. My son looks forward to his lessons with Matthew and is coming on really fast because Matthew uses the time very effectively - sometimes getting through two chapters in one two hour session! My son says that Matthew is very good at adjusting the pace of the lesson so he never feels bored or hurried, and Matthew explains things in a way that makes the concepts easy to grasp. I would recommend Matthew highly to anyone looking for a tutor im Maths.

Matthew has given my daughter the confidence to tackle maths. He encourages her with positive praise and works to a pace that suits her. She has come along way and gained alot of knowledge sicnce she started with him.
