Tutoring Experience

I have taught in Harris Westminster Sixth Form, Year 12 and Year 13 Government and Politics (a top 5 Sixth Form nationally) as well as Harris Clapham Sixth Form - Year 12 and Year 13 Government and Politics.
I also have experience doing 1-2-1 Maths, Science and English GCSE Tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

I have a dialectic approach to tutoring. Lots of questioning for work both in the classroom and outside of lesson. With A Level Politics, there is a lot of time pressure to write good essays. The first stage to this is by establishing a deep knowledge base and then putting this knowledge into the context of essay writing. Having taught over 150 students including having experience tailoring learning for SEND students, I am well aware of the difference it makes for the learning when the teaching is tailor made with individual students in mind.
